Long Engineering Announces the Addition of Jaime F. Higgins as Land Development Survey Manager
Long Engineering announced today the addition of Jaime F. Higgins, PLS, CP as Land Development Survey Manager. Higgins comes to Long Engineering with more than 33 years of surveying experience throughout the southeast. Mr. Higgins has extensive experience with land development surveys encompassing a wide range of projects including campus settings, residential, industrial, ALTA Land Title, and solar farms projects. Mr. Higgins is also experienced in the power, gas, light, and utility industry with inventory projects and corridor surveys.
Additionally, Mr. Higgins experience includes aerial mapping and knowledge with GPS systems including Real Time Kinematic systems, reflectorless survey technology, robotic total stations, digital levels, and First Order and Second Order Class 1 Procedures. Mr. Higgin’s experience includes work at several well-recognized firms here in the greater Atlanta market, as well as professional surveyor licenses in five states including an ASPRS certification. He served as Managing Principal of Vector Technical Services, LLC; Survey Director, Travis Pruitt and Associates, Inc.; Survey Group Manager, Integrated Science and Engineering, Inc.; and Vice President, HDR Engineering, Inc., Atlanta Survey Department Manager.
