Long Engineering announced today the addition of Jaime F. Higgins, PLS, CP as Land Development Survey Manager. Higgins comes to Long Engineering with more than 33 years of surveying experience throughout the southeast. Mr. Higgins has extensive experience with land development surveys encompassing a wide range of projects including campus settings, residential, industrial, ALTA Land Title, and solar farms projects. Mr. Higgins is also experienced in the power, gas, light, and utility industry with inventory projects and corridor surveys.
Additionally, Mr. Higgins experience includes aerial mapping and knowledge with GPS systems including Real Time Kinematic systems, reflectorless survey technology, robotic total stations, digital levels, and First Order and Second Order Class 1 Procedures. I am thrilled for the opportunity to join the Long Engineering team,” Higgins said. “I’m excited to work with the talented team of surveying professionals at LONG, and to lead the efforts of our Land Development group while assisting with various other surveying needs of our incredible clients.”

Mr. Higgin’s experience includes work at several well-recognized firms here in the greater Atlanta market, as well as professional surveyor licenses in five states including an ASPRS certification. He served as Managing Principal of Vector Technical Services, LLC; Survey Director, Travis Pruitt and Associates, Inc.; Survey Group Manager, Integrated Science and Engineering, Inc.; and Vice President, HDR Engineering, Inc., Atlanta Survey Department Manager.
