Today, we celebrate Dana Butterworth, Vice President of Support Services, for 15 years of service! Dana has been with us at Long Engineering since 2006, and has been a pivotal factor in the success and growth of our firm over the past several years. Having previously functioned in multiple support roles, and now assuming a key administrative role, this has enabled Dana to have a unique understanding of the totality of the company operations. She is extremely dedicated to our employees, the firm, and serves as a critical leader performing her job as if the company were hers.

Robert Moreman Celebrates One Year With Long

Today marks Robert Moreman, P.E.‘s, one-year anniversary with Long Engineering as our Lead Bridge and Hydraulic Engineer. He has played a valuable role in the success of Long Engineering for the past year, and has a diverse design experience including conceptual, preliminary, structural, and hydraulic design of numerous bridges. As a former lead design engineer in the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Office of Bridges and Structures Bridge Hydraulics Design Group, his ability to weigh various aspects of design, ranging from hydraulic performance, speed of construction, cost, and longevity, leads him to be an expert at determining the optimum drainage structure to use at a specific site.­­­­

Andrew Pankopp Celebrate 8 Years With Long

Today marks the 8th year that Andrew Pankopp, PE, LEED AP, Vice President of our Land Development group at Long Engineering, has been with us. Andrew has set an exemplary standard through his work ethic and dedication to his team and clients. He is experienced in hydraulic modeling, master planning, grading and drainage improvements, stormwater management, water and sewer system design, preparation of construction documents, focus on educational facilities improvement, as well as parks and recreational sites. Andrew has worked on a number of high-profile projects within the City of Atlanta and its surrounding metropolitan areas. With over 13 years of experience in civil engineering design, we are sincerely grateful for your leadership and work ethic. Thank you, Andrew, for having a large role in the success of our team and in our continued company growth!
