Registered Land Surveyor
The Registered Land Surveyor will perform property boundary resolution, prepare boundary, topographic and utility surveys, supervise survey technicians and field crews, as well as provide estimates of field and office time to complete survey tasks/proposals. The candidate must have strong leadership skills, transition work to appropriate staff, and meet specified schedules and budgets.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Extensive client contact and client management
- Training and mentoring survey technicians and staff
- Development of surveys that are complete, accurate and organized, primarily for use by internal Site Design/Land Development department
- Manage projects in a manner that consistently meets schedules and budgets
- Communicate with survey crews and Site Design/Land Development staff to efficiently execute the work
Minimum Requirements:
- Registered Land Surveyor licensed in Georgia (and Alabama would be a plus)
- 7 years of land surveying experience to support Site Design/Land Development
- Excellent communication skills internally and externally
- Commitment to detail and quality of work
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Other Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk Civil 3D, Starnet and/or Leica Infinity
- Commitment to detail and development of high quality surveys
- Able to work efficiently and remain focused in a fast paced environment
- Excellent at working in a collaborative work place
