Project Manager, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)
This position requires an experienced project manager in managing multiple projects and clients in the SUE Department. The candidate must have strong leadership skills, transition work to appropriate staff, and meet specified schedules and budgets while producing an accurate work product.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Extensive client contact and client management
- Training and mentoring SUE technicians and staff
- Development of utility drawings that are complete, accurate and organized
- Development of drawings meeting the specific standards dictated by the client
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a manner that consistently meets schedules and budgets
- Communicate internally and with field staff to efficiently execute the work
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma; College Degree Preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in managing projects, office staff and field crews in the SUE field
- Excellent communication skills internally and externally
- Commitment to detail and quality of work
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Other Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of Microstation and/or Autodesk Civil 3D
- Commitment to detail and development of high quality surveys
- Able to work efficiently and focused in a fast paced environment
- Excellent at working in a collaborative work place
