Old Stilesboro Road Bridge Replacement at Little Allatoona Creek

This was a local government project funded by 1% TSPLOST funds. The project was turn-key and included survey, roadway design, bridge design, hydraulic analysis, erosion and sediment control, geotechnical investigations, and environmental permitting. The bridge was designed using shallow prestressed concrete box beams in order to maintain the hydraulic clearance and minimize the roadway grade increase. The project required coordination with the US Army Corps of Engineers since the crossing impacted both wetlands and Lake Allatoona.
