MARTA Tunnel Project

 Long Engineering (LONG) was contracted by Northpoint Hospitality Group to provide Quality Level-A Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) work for this MARTA tunnel project. The proposed improvements included several types of modifications to the existing facility. Fulton County officials needed to know the exact locations of certain utility lines, as well as what those lines were connected to. The main objective for this project was to effectively identify underground utilities for the county to complete the proposed modifications without any incidents or damages.

LONG performed a total of 13 test holes at various locations to identify the exact location of effluent and influent lines. This provided the county with a roadmap of underground lines, which enabled them to complete the modifications without any incidents. SUE work provided by LONG included performing test holes at a variety of locations within the project limits.
