Long Engineering, Inc. is a dynamic, fast paced civil engineering firm with offices in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. We grow quickly and have been recognized as one of the Top 100 fastest growing engineering, architectural or environmental firms in the country in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Growth means there is continual opportunity for talented people to rise within the organization and to be professionally challenged.
There are many reasons to be a part of our team:
Diversity and Stability We have diversified clients and disciplines. About 60% of our work is performed for cities, counties and states while the remaining 40% is for the private sector. This provides diversified projects, and even when the economy slows (as it periodically does), we still plan on being busy.
Great Clients We are always astonished by the quality of our clients. They are well-established and experienced, so they have high expectations and know whats necessary for a successful project
Fun People We have very talented people with a wide variety of experiences. We like the energy and sponge-like learning capabilities of young people, the depth of knowledge in the more experienced staff members, and everyone in-between. We also like our staff to reflect the cultural diversity of the community in which we live it is much more interesting and fun.
We have a summer picnic, holiday party, inter-office bowling tournament, golf outings, happy hours and Friday barbeques. We work hard but we have fun, too!
Growth and Rewards We grow quickly, but not through acquisitions, so there arent continual reorganizations and blending of company cultures. Our growth stems from our projects and our employees. And as we said before, with growth comes opportunity.
There are a few exceptional people out there that can both develop the business and produce the work at a pace that allows them to grow rapidly. For these people we have a special program that allows them to exercise their entrepreneurship and, in-return, their compensation is directly related to the resulting profits. A lot of responsibility with big rewards for the talented!
