The backdrop for most of the photographs in our web site are from Glenwood Park, one of Atlanta’s and the nation’s best examples of New Urbanism. Developed by Green Street Properties, it is the epitome of a walkable, loveable community that resembles days gone by before urban sprawl and segregation of land uses. It is the brainchild of Charles Brewer, Katharine Kelley and Walter Brown, who painstakingly sweated over every detail and uncompromisingly stuck to the founding principles that make Glenwood Park one of the most distinguishable new communities in the country. Glenwood Park received the following awards:

Urban Land Institute’s Development of Excellence Award - 2006 Project of the Year

Atlanta Regional Commission - Development of Excellence, 2005

Golden Shoe Award

EarthCraft House Development of the Year – 2005

Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association - Community of the Year

Georgia Conservancy - 2004 Distinguished Conservationist Award

Creative Loafing's Best of Atlanta - Charles Brewer Voted Best Atlanta Real Estate Developer 2004

Congress for the New Urbanism - Charter Award

Georgia Urban Forest Council Award

Dave Radlmann managed the construction at Glenwood Park for five years and took some outstanding photographs both during construction and as the development became a vibrant center for living and working. Many of his photographs are on exhibit in the offices and common building areas throughout the project. We knew he was the perfect person to handle the photography for our web page, and we extend our gratitude for the exceptional job he did. To contact Dave, email him at dradlma@aol.com.

We also want to thank Shawn Jenks at 314Creative for his patience and unfaltering commitment to developing a great web site. Without his creative touches and leadership, this would not have been the web site we dreamed of. Shawn can be reached at info@314creative.com.
